The Art Bank is another way of supporting the people involved in Siloam Mission\u2019s Art Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you have several rooms with spaces for art and can\u2019t decide what to put on the walls, the Art Bank might be a good fit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Instead of purchasing one piece destined for each room where it will hang, you purchase several pieces. These are then chosen by the room\u2019s occupants or even rotated regularly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019ve seen this at work in the Arlene Wilson Recovery Centre. A very generous donor came up with the concept. Here\u2019s how it works:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When someone moves into the Nest Program, they can look at the artwork available and choose one from the collection for their room. Pieces that aren\u2019t chosen for a private room are hung in common areas to be enjoyed by everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
